Yogurt Alfredo sauce

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup of Oikos 11% plain yogurt
  • 2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Sea salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg (optional)

PREPARATION STEPS

1In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic powder and milk. Heat for one minute. Remove from heat and let cool 2 to 3 minutes. 2Gradually whisk in yogurt. 3Add the grated Parmesan and stir until it melts completely (reheat over low heat if it does not melt completely). Add nutmeg to taste, season with salt and pepper and add the sauce to your favourite pasta.
